Canon A640 digital camera came outto replace highly popular Power Shot A610. It features rotating 2.5-inch vary-angle LCD, 4x optical zoom lens, and vast collection of creative shooting modes. Its 10.0-megapixel sensor produces detailed and high quality images.
This camera has a new safety zoom which takes benefit of camera's high resolution and offers extra zoom magnification without adversely affecting image quality. With up to 16x zoom when shooting small size images users can also activate the Digital Tele converter to put extra telephoto reach on all shots, akin like adding a Tele converter lens to the camera.
Its 4x optical zoom lens attains 35-140mm focal length whilst allowing the camera to maintain a compact size.
